If your country (or region) does not currently have an EvalYouth chapter, you can create one! To start a new EvalYouth chapter, follow the steps below:
- Discuss your intention to start an EvalYouth chapter with your national or regional Voluntary Organizations for Professional Evaluation (VOPE). To get started, first get in touch with the national or regional VOPE for where you are based to discuss founding this chapter, and how it can best be coordinated with the VOPE. A full list of VOPEs currently in existence can be found here: https://www.ioce.net/vope-directory.
- Form a group of Young and Emerging Evaluators (YEEs). To start a new chapter, you will need to form a group of motivated YEEs to help establish it. These YEEs should all be based in the country where you are founding the EvalYouth chapter.
- Contact the regional EvalYouth chapter leadership and the EvalYouth ExCom. Once you have the group organized and have discussed it with the relevant VOPE, you will need to approach the relevant EvalYouth leadership. This includes the EvalYouth regional chapter for your area, as well as EvalYouth Global’s ExCom. They will then help guide you through formally launching the new EvalYouth chapter.
