EvalYouth Sri Lanka was formed in December 2019 as a country chapter for Young and Emerging Evaluators (YEEs). EvalYouth Sri Lanka is supported by Sri Lanka Evaluation Association (SLEvA). The main aim of EvalYouth Sri Lanka is to engage and create a network for YEEs in Sri Lanka. The objectives of EvalYouth Sri Lanka are as follows: 1. To increase engagement of YEEs including young women and marginalized communities in Sri Lanka in the evaluation field; 2. To enhance knowledge and skills of YEEs on monitoring and evaluation; 3. To enhance peer-to-peer support and networking among YEEs in Sri Lanka; and 4. Ensure that YEEs are involved in evaluation of policy decision making.

Training Workshop for Young and Emerging Evaluators(YEEs)

EvalYouth Sri Lanka together with the Center for Evaluation (CFE), University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and Sri Lanka Evaluation Association (SLEvA) are planning to hold a Training Workshop for Young and Emerging Evaluators(YEEs) in Sri Lanka with the support of UNICEF.

This workshop will be held on the 13th and  14th of  March  2021 in Colombo.

The YEEs workshop aims to provide training on Monitoring & Evaluation and Career Development to the young professionals who have been involved in the evaluation field.  Further, this training aims to build up a network of young professionals in the evaluation field of Sri Lanka.
