There are many reasons to join EvalYouth, including: 
  1. EvalYouth provides Young and Emerging Evaluators (YEEs) the opportunity to learn and practice the skills needed to forward their evaluation career; 
  2. While EvalYouth does not provide direct training on how to conduct evaluations, its volunteers and members get to work on and participate in evaluation-focused conferences/webinars, e-learning, and mentoring programs and help manage consultants for evaluation-related projects;
  3. EvalYouth offers the opportunity for YEEs to connect with like-minded professionals to increase their networks and share experiences and lessons learned; and
  4. EvalYouth directly supports its members’ professional and career development by providing opportunities and initiatives that are announced via the members’ listserv and EvalYouth’s social media channels.
